ALOT Systems Introduces QR Betslip and Scan to Play for Retail Lottery

ALOT Systems has introduced its new QR Betslip and Scan to Play solution, designed to modernise retail lottery sales while preserving the traditional physical ticket experience.

With QR Betslip, players can prepare their lottery selections digitally on a mobile phone, including numbers, bet type, number of lines and draws, before generating a QR code for purchase at an authorised retailer.

Through Scan to Play, game-specific QR codes can also be displayed directly at retail locations. Players scan the code to open the selected game on their mobile device, prepare their bet and generate the QR Betslip before proceeding to checkout.

The retailer then scans the QR Betslip, confirms the bet details and issues the official lottery ticket through a terminal or Android-based retailer application. The solution can also support self-service kiosks, where players can scan, pay and print tickets directly.

The approach is designed to reduce manual betslip completion, minimise input errors and speed up retail transactions, particularly for more complex bets.
